Recording the Stories Behind the Headstones – Oral History Training

As part of our “Behind the Headstones” heritage project, we’re looking for volunteers to help us record the memories, experience and opinions of people who have or do live in Castle Bromwich.

The oral history project will draw out the histories behind the headstones in Castle Bromwich graveyard and reflect upon Castle Bromwich at Work, War and Castle Bromwich, Health, Transport, School and Childhood.

We are running an oral histories training course for people who are interested in volunteering for this project. The training will take place on Monday May 20th and Tuesday June 4th and will be held from 10am – 4pm in the new community hall at St Mary & St Margaret Church, Castle Bromwich.
