Graveyard Project Judged to be Thriving

Representatives of the Castle Bromwich Youth & Community Project were invited to attend an It’s Your Neighbourhood” Awards ceremony at Henley in Arden Golf Club on September 6th.

Chairman of the Partnership, Terrie Knibb, was presented with a Level 4 Award for community participation and environmental responsibility, for the group’s graveyard project. To date in excess of 250 people have volunteered as part of the project which has seen the closed graveyard turned from area over-grown with brambles and prone to vandalism and anti-social behaviour to a community asset.
