Community Dinner has CHARM

Participants in the CHARM cookery project run by the Castle Bromwich Youth & Community Partnership hosted a community dinner on Saturday May 26th to show that it’s possible to cook cheap, healthy meals on a budget and to create favourite take away dishes easily at home.

The CHARM project ran from February to May and gave participants the opportunity to learn how to make simple adaptations to favourite recipes to make them healthier as well as having the opportunity to cook a wide range of different cuisines.

The community  dinner which was attended by the Mayor of Solihull and the Chairman of Castle Bromwich Parish Council along with local residents also saw the launch of a community recipe book.
